Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum and Instruction: lead dynamic inquiry-based learning activities, nurture development of a lifelong love of learning
- Classroom Management: managing daily routines in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Family Communication: maintain effective communication with families regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Health and Safety: ensure cleanliness and orderliness, adhere to stringent health & safety guidelines
- Professional Development: participate in ongoing development & training opportunities, collaborate and share ideas and strategies

Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- 1-2+ years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting required
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
- Associate or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (or other Education degree) preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
